SvSIP is a software that you allow to use your Nintendo DS like phone. For this, it uses SIP protocol. This protocol is an open standard for creating, modifying, and terminating sessions with one or more participants. It is widely used as a signaling protocol for Voice over IP.

This software is under development, it currently allows:

* to call to number with figures,
* to receive calls,
* to question IVR by using DTMF tones.

Tried it with my DSLite, it works but not very well - your voice is unclear so the other end has to have volume up full blast to be able to hear

if its breaking up then its probably your connection or internet speed. i've used it quite a bit and only very little static is the only trouble i ever had with it.

My internet connection is quite fast, not at home so cant give the up/down speed


Used it a long time ago, got sick with it - think i'll stick to ip phones rather than a ds

yeah i don't use it much its really just a cool things to show family/friends. I have a cell phone so I have no use for a ds phone.
